My students are amazing individuals. They come to school every day ready and eager to learn. They work hard every day no matter the circumstance; I have been an educator for 27 years and education is constantly changing.
I want to ensure that in times of change, my students always have what they need.

My Project
These materials, such the Wobble Chairs and seating pillows, will help me transform my kindergarten classroom into a flexible seating environment. Students learn in all different ways and I believe that seating plays a part in this. Times have changed and it is getting harder and harder to keeps young children's attention. Kid's need to move throughout the day. Sitting on a hard chair at a table is no longer working. Flexible seating allows children to move throughout the day as they see fit.
I want students to figure out how they learn best and choose a seat that helps them learn to their full potential.
Some kids do best sitting at a table while others need some movement. Wobble Chairs will allow fidgety kids to move while they are still engaged in learning. Pillows will allow students a chance to get comfy on the floor.
These materials will help give my children a choice in their learning and help them focus to get the most out of their education.
