My Students

My students are 21st-century learners who are constantly seeking knowledge. They are growing up in a fast paced informational world. Most of their day is spent inside a classroom in a sedentary way. When they are given opportunities to move around and stimulate their brains, they get energized and excited about the things they still have to learn. My students need STEM based learning resources. These tools will be used to challenge their creative thinking in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math.

My Project

My students are creative learners that are always looking for unique ways to explore and investigate the world around them. They work on several project based learning activities through out the year. The Flex Space Lap Desk will allow my students to find the perfect spot in our room to explore their ideas. We already have the lap chairs that go with the desks but my students struggle with finding a good spot that also has a hard work surface for writing and using mobile devices. These lap desks will allow them to work alone or form a group to collaborate and share ideas.
