My Students

I am in my second year teaching at an elementary school in Mesquite, TX with some very active fourth graders! I have a homeroom class of 17 students and one switching class of 19 students.

My students have a variety of flexible seating options that they enjoy.

They like to sit on cushions on the floor with clipboards, stools, and fuzzy chairs. My goal is to give them some new choices to enhance their learning and focus.

My Project

I want to provide a new bean bag and futon for my students in our classroom. With these new flexible seating options, students will be able to choose the best spot for them to learn and to be comfortable while learning.

Donations to this project will help me meet the needs of all of my students!

Every child learns differently and it is important to differentiate the seating of the classroom to meet every students learning style. We can not wait to add these new flexible seating options to our classroom and appreciate your generosity to give to our classroom!
