My kindergarten students are creative, thoughtful, and full energy! This year I have 2 students who are hard of hearing and have devices, 1 student with a developmental delay, 1 student on the Autism Spectrum, and a few with ADD/ADHD. Throughout this school year, I differentiated the learning of my students. I found out what works for each student and how he/she learns the best.
Each student brings his/her own personality to our classroom.
With each personality, come differences. We all learn differently and we should allow students to learn in the way that fits them.
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to take charge in their learning. During independent learning times they may choose a location in the classroom that works for them. As of right now, my students have scoop rockers, clipboards, bean bags chairs, and are able to stand at the tables when they work. When students are comfortable, they are more motivated to work.
My students are more engaged when they are able to make choices in their learning.
The products I have selected will help my students by giving them more options. The items will help wiggly children get their wiggles out while learning and growing!
