This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fun, thoughtful, and eager to learn! My students really enjoy engaging activites and projects that are hands-on. They are always thinking of different ways to better their work and make their ideas come to life.

Even better, my students are so proud to be bilingual!

They persevere and collaborate in order to get things done. Every challenge is embraced. My students are fearless and use every possible obstacle as a learning tool to excel in our classroom.

My Project

My students have many different academic, social and behavioral needs. Some of my students struggle sitting in a traditional chair and do better in standing tables, ball chairs, pillows, benches etc.

Flexible seating gives them the opportunity to do their best work in a seat of their choice.

It is my hope that my classroom can become a safe and comfortable place that meets all student needs. I also want my students to take initiative and stand up for themselves. I need them to be able to say "this seat doesn't work for me, I can do my best work at this chair."
