My Students

I love my job. I get to make art with children everyday. My art room is full of joy and wonder. Students are using 21st century skills everyday, developing ideas, problem-solving solutions and creating original works of art. For many students who struggle with academics, art is a place where they can freely express themselves.

I focus on process rather than projects and provide my students with experiences in a variety of mediums and techniques.

It's amazing to see students fully engaged creating a work of art that is meaningful to them.

Art curriculum shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all.

FLEX gives art teachers access to a rich library of high-quality curriculum materials so they can save time and focus on teaching and student learning.

FLEX allows art teachers to build custom curriculum based on student interest and ability.

This year long subscription to The Art of Education University's FLEX curriculum will give me access to a large library of curriculum collections. Each month new lessons are added, covering new artists, current events, cross-curricular connections, and more. This curriculum would give me more time to focus on my students.
