My students need a variety of seating choices such as Wobble chairs, stools and comfortable plush seats to allow them flexibility while doing reading workshop, sitting, and working.
This school year of 2018 to 2019 I am teaching 26 wonderful, eager, and amazing enthusiastic Kindergarten students. The class is composed of a variety of learners with many learning styles and levels of readiness to start school.They range from the at-risk to high achieving and special needs to everyone in between.
Kindergarten is the time when students learn so much setting up a foundation and a love of learning that will follow them.
They want to share this with everyone.
My Project
This project with make a tremendous difference for the students this year and years to come. The students will have the ability to make decisions about where they would work and learn best. The seating will make them feel more at home and allow them to work collaboratively with their peers. They will also have more seating options for them to choose from. The added chairs, comfortable cushion seats, and stools will help my students by impacting their learning in a positive way. The Wobble chairs and wobble ball chairs will encourage them to be proactive and focused on their learning enhancing our learning environment.
