My students are bright, well-mannered, spunky students who love to be in school! I teach 5th grade and constantly try to make sure the students are given as much opportunity for interactive and fun learning.
These items will help enhance the student's learning by allowing students be in a seat where they will learn best.
My students love to move around. They are very active outside of school and need a way to release this energy while in school in an effective manner.
My Project
Do you remember sitting in your plastic chair for 7 hours straight in school? It was NOT comfortable! These new supplies will change my classroom for my students and give them flexibility with their seating. By allowing my students to choose what type of seat they sit in each day, their excitement with learning will increase and this will help them be successful each day. These additions to my classroom will help my students have a comfortable seat that fits their needs each day.
Whether they choose to sit on a stool or a disc, they can move around and find the seat style that will fit their needs.
The stools will replace their plastic chairs, allowing for a more fun seat and increase engagement. The discs will be used when students want to sit on the floor or to make their plastic chairs more comfortable. It also allows for students to move around in the chairs, which will increase student engagement. My students will love these options in our classroom!
