Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are so eager to learn. They are curious, eager, and excited about being at school each day. While attending a Title I school sometimes resources are limited.
My students deserve the very best, that is why I would like to be able to provide them with the choice and flexibility.
Though my students are excited and eager to be at school, their home lives most times do not depict that of going home. I am dedicated to providing them with a fun environment.
My Project
This project will reach about 20 students at low income schools. By incorporating flexible seating in my classroom I am allowing my students ownership and choice in their classroom. The bathroom mats and clipboards will be available for the children to choose a place anywhere in the classroom they choose to sit. This allows the students to feel part of the classroom.
I strongly believe making the classroom fun and engaging helps along with the learning process and will help the children want to achieve their academic goals.
I will incorporate the lighting and special effects so the students will feel safe and have lots of fun.
