My Project

Our classroom is filled with creative learners! We have a wide range of abilities and types of learners who are always excited for a challenge. We are an inclusion classroom, which is a classroom mixed with general education students and special needs students.

Flexible seating will allow students to be independent and to have the seating option that works best for them.

During small group instruction/independent work time, they are allowed to sit wherever they would like: on the rug with a clipboard, at their desk, or laying down on the floor with a clipboard. Allowing students to feel comfortable is a crucial component in learning and motivating them. I notice that when you give students choices, they are a lot happier and are able to be more engaged in their work.

The products that I have selected will help my students who don't like to sit on a regular chair and who can't keep still. The wobbly chairs allow students do lean and rock which the students will love!
