Help me give my students an opportunity to be their best in a classroom environment where they can use flexible seating to help them learn and be engaged. They need four bean bag chairs.

My Students

My 4th-grade classroom is made up of thirteen girls and eight boys. These students are eager to learn about many things. These students care about each other and encourage each other through their words and their actions. The best thing about them is that they are in charge of their own learning and knowing how they learn.

For many of them (my students) they learn best through the use of flexible seating opportunities.

They aren't confined to chairs and desks all day and have the opportunity to expand their mind and learn more in a setting that allows them to be comfortable.

My Project

All students learn differently and in different ways. For many students in previous grades, they were used to sitting in chairs at a desk for most of their class day. As they sit in my 4th-grade classroom I would like to provide them with the opportunity for them to take charge of their learning.

By taking charge of their learning this means knowing how they learn best- sitting on stabilizing balls, stools, rolling chairs, crates, beanbags, regular classroom chairs or even sitting on the floor and completing their work with the help of a lap desk.

Most importantly, these students are engaged and ready to learn because they are comfortable. With this flexible seating opportunity, bean bag chairs, students will have another way to learn and feel comfortable and not feel confined.
