As a Special Education Teacher, I love to include all students. Those with an IEP and those without. All students are unique in their own ways and respect starts with us. Part of respect is learning expected vs. unexpected behavior.

" We are a team! Together, Everyone Achieves More. Whether we need accommodations, modifications or behavioral reminders we all deserve the right to learn and grow.
My Project
These materials will assist my students with a safe space and place to calm down or take a break in order to re-set. School days can be tiring and all students need breaks. Sometimes, just a 5 minute break will allow ones body to calm down and be redirected to the task(s) at hand.
Environment plays a huge role in ones behavior.
The way we react and respond either adds positivity and encouragement or adds to unexpected further behaviors. Having a safe space to calm down and regroup helps reset the mind.
