My class is a diverse mixture of students from all backgrounds, aging from 4-6 years of age. I have multiple learner styles in my classroom, and a variety of personalities.

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
These special flex-space seats will help all of my students feel comfortable in their classroom. It will allow students the opportunity to choose their seat and learn from a place that is conducive in their growth as students.
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them.
Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. They almost always make good choices about where they sit, are more engaged, and get more work completed than when they are just sitting at their desk.
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools are adjustable and will allow students to sit at desk/higher tables but will still allow some movement. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. They can also be used as an alternative chair if needed! The comfy floor seats will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
The coolers will be used daily during outside activities. Our hallway does not have a water fountain and there are no height-appropriate ones anywhere on campus, these coolers will be extremely beneficial to our kids and their health/hydration. When they run out of water from their personal water bottles, they'll have the opportunity to refill their own bottles without any problems!
