Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My favorite quote from my students is "We grew this!" As my students continue to learn, they ask many questions such as who, what, where, and why. I want to continue to stimulate their learning abilities by giving them the opportunity to use new technology to increase their learning abilities. My students are full of life, ready to learn daily.
As a teacher, I question myself as to how can I help them think outside the box and learn about their environment inside my classroom.
Our students inside our school come from a wide variety of diverse economic backgrounds. Over 70% of our students receive free lunches and are part of a backpack program which gives the students additional food for the weekends.
My Project
Adding additional flex seating will assist my students with their flash light Friday. I encourage my students to meet their reading goals along with pushing them to strive for a higher reading level.
Using daily additional reading comprehension worksheets will allow a better understanding of what my students are learning in the third grade.
I want my students to learn to the best of their ability and that is why I teach. I want my students to walk out of my classroom and be ready to walk into our fourth grade classrooms ready to begin their learning without having to review third grade skills.
