My students are a diverse group of students. They have a love of learning and want to please me as much as possible. They love working together and being cooperative. They enjoy collaborative conversations and thinking outside the box. They are excited to work together and learn new reading strategies.
My students are hard workers and enjoy being celebrated!
My goal is to provide a safe and fun learning environment while making them feel at home in the classroom on a daily basis.
My Project
My students enjoy our classroom flexible seating! Throughout this year, it has been trial and error with what works and what doesn't work for them. One thing they do enjoy is our library with bean bags and yoga balls.
Having flexible seating in my classroom allows my students to move without disrupting the classroom.
The bean bag refills will allow our current bean bags to be refilled so that they can continue to enjoy those flexible seating items. The peanut ball will add another form of flexible seating for those of my students who love the yoga balls! I want to provide them with more options other than what I currently have. Adding a bar table and table risers will give options to those students who wish to stand work versus sitting at a regular table to complete their daily work in my classroom.
