Flat Stanley Is Back...

Help me give my students the book Stanley In Space so that each student in our 2nd grade class with get their own copy of Flat Stanley.

My Students

Our students come from many different cultural and economic backgrounds. They have kind hearts and make us proud every day. We are a Title I school with fantastic students who are eager to learn! All my students want is to learn and have people believe in them. They want to do well and want to make their families proud. I have faith in them, and so can you; they just need teachers, and supplies in the classroom and an environment that can help them get there.

My Project

As a grade level we are going to read the Flat Stanley books, integrate the story and character into our everyday learning, and give each child the opportunity to have their very own copy of the book to read along with us.

It is so important that a child wants to read, is interested in what they are reading, and understands how what they read can tie into their everyday activities.

By giving each child their own copy of this book, they will be able to take ownership of their assignments and their reading. Every child should be excited about reading!
