This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the most eager readers in my class this year. No matter their level, they all love reading and are making many gains in their skills. I want to create a fun learning environment for them to practice reading.
I am asking for flashlights and decodable readers so I can implement Flashlight Fridays in my classroom.
Students can select books based on their levels and read them in the dark using a flashlight.
I know this activity will motivate my students to increase their reading fluency and stamina. I cannot wait to see my idea put into action!
