This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flashlight Fridays are a fun way to engage all readers. This project will continue to provide each of my students with a Flashlight Friday experience. This ensures that they will always want to work hard throughout the week. Students will read in a darkened classroom by flashlight on Fridays. They will choose a cozy spot in the classroom to enjoy a good book or choose to buddy read!

Flashlight reading is an engaging and creative way to instill a love of reading!

The extra batteries will ensure that students for years to come will enjoy this exciting reading opportunity. We will use the baskets and organizing items to keep our room safe and clean. Thanks for supporting my effort to instill a lifelong love of reading for my 3rd graders.
