Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students in Lewisville, Texas are flamazing! Many of them are coming from low income households and education is not at the forefront. Getting the year started off in a positive way will help them see the value of education and have them wanting to come to school each day. These kids are inquisitive, talented, and full of potential; I want them to have every chance at internalizing how special they are!
My Project
I want my students to remember this year as the best year. After missing the last 3 months of the 2019-2020 school year, I am hoping to get the 2020-2021 school year stated with a flamazing gift for my students.
Each student will receive a gift bag with a pen, eraser, bookmark, pencil pouch, and a book of their very own.
These materials will be vital to starting their year with the right message. Help my students see that they are loved, they are valued, and that their educational journey is important!
