My Students

This project will be used for my Agriculture Mechanics class. This is a brand new class offered in our small school of 97 students K-12. The Ag Mechanics class will be offered to my Junior and Senior Ag students. These students have grown up with each other and know how to work in teams. Within this class I will offer small gas engines, hydraulics, plumbing, electricity, and fabrication.

This class is extremely hands on and all of the students expect that within my classroom.

My students are extremely excited to be in a new class like this one. Students have not been offered this class in their careers so they are ready for a class that is different. Students are bringing in new ideas for this class and are ready to get started.

My Project

The Ag mechanics class is a new class within our agricultural education classroom. This class will be offered the opportunity to work with small gas engines. This unit is going to be perfect for the students because they deal with small gas engines every day in real life.

These students come from a farming community where small gas engines are used every day.

If I can get students to understand the components of small gas engines they will be able to become successful in their community. This will also be beneficial to the students competing in the ag mechanics contest at the Wyoming State FFA Convention.
