This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very tech savvy and seem to learn faster and retain information better with the use of technology. We have a large Latino community. Technology and learning programs seem to work very well with our students. With lots of funding going down and working in a low income community, our students have a hard time accessing a computer at home, so the best way to access a computer would be at school. We want to help our students as much as possible, so they can have a better future.

My Project

My project is very simple but it will make my students more comfortable during the time they have in computer class. The current lab has outdated tables that make it difficult for students to work on the computer. The tables in the computer lab don't match each other, they are different heights and different sizes. Also the cables are not hidden and are a safety issue.

Having new tables will benefit all our students and make it a more appealing environment for them to work in.

The better the working conditions, the better results are achieved at a work or school setting. By upgrading our tables not only our students will have a better working environment but also safer environment as well. The special computer tables will hide the cables and make it easier for students to work on the computer.
