My Students

At our school, Physical Education and Health is the absolute best place to be! Students gets to move, run, and learn new motor skills to be competent in various sports and fitness activities.

I teach at an inner city school of about 800 students.

Half of our students receive free or reduced lunch. There are roughly 20 different languages spoken at our school. I have never been to or seen a more diverse school than this one. I tried my best to reach all students to make them feel safe, comfortable, and in shape during my PE classes.

My Project

We are looking to receive new dumbbells racks to accompany the new dumbbells our school has received through another Donors choose.org project.

By creating a new fitness room for our school this will attract all students and staff to continue to reach for their fitness goals.

Storage will be key in keeping our fitness room up to date and looking nice. Without proper storage for our equipment things may get ruined, lost, or broken in no time.

We received vinyl dumbbells through another Donorschoose.org project and are looking to add these dumbbells racks to them. These will be easy and efficient storage racks to keep the weights nice.
