Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students love their gym period even though our funding is low. I have to find ways to get all kids engaged throughout the year and make it fun for all kids to be active. Our challenge is getting health and wellness resources and equipment to keep the kids entertained. I hope you can help out with our objective, which is to take their physical well being serious, as I have taught each and everyone of my student to do so as well.

My Project

I have been searching for ways to help fund the fitness aspect of my health and PE classes for a while. We get into sections that teach fitness in depth and we can only get through body weight exercises. The kids are eager to further their fitness knowledge and experience. I hope this will serve as the starting point to getting these kids that want to possibly go into the health and fitness field the right tools to solidify them route to career development. Or even as a jump start to fitness as most of these kids will become student athletes.
