Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are amazing! They are geared up and ready to learn new and innovative skills and sports, they are self-starters. Our students want to learn and are hands-on in their approach to learning.
Our school is a high needs, high poverty area and even with the obstacles our students face on a daily basis they dress up and show up to learn.
Our students take advantage of every opportunity that comes their way and are grateful for those opportunities.
Bringing new and innovative skills to our students keeps them enthusiastic about Physical Education and life-long exercise to keep them healthy and fit.
My Project
Our students are excited to be in Physical Education where we create an environment conducive to learning new skills and sports. We have a beautiful fitness room that we want to make into a premiere workout room for our students to enjoy.
It is important that our students have the best equipment possible in our school.
They do deserve the best because they come to our classes enthusiastic and ready to learn. Our students will enjoy walking into a beautiful, cared for fitness room that they will enjoy for their entire time in Physical Education class.
The gym flooring will also help protect the wood floor already in place from wear and tear from use.
