This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are special needs post-high school 18-21 years of age. They are funny, kind, and grateful. They work as hard as they’re able to. They’re determined to be productive and are always looking to please. My students are my pride and joy. I couldn’t love my job more. I learn from them every day!

My Project

Please support my students as we navigate flexible fitness. My special needs students have indulged too much during the COVID lockdown. Now it's time to take off the extra pounds and make fitness part of our lifestyle.

"Fitness at our fingertips" will allow students the convenience of utilizing equipment right in their classroom!

No longer will they have to wait till their physical education class to break a sweat. With this fully funded project, they will be able to workout while reading, using their tablets, laptops and several times a day during their breaks!

Exercise is invaluable for both physical and mental health. Students will benefit from utilizing the equipment as a reward, as a mood stabilizer and as a sensory station.
