Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach Kindergartners at an older school in the East Bay (Northern California). I have a lively bunch of children who are eager to explore and learn new things. They love hands-on experiences; however, I lack supplies and technology for this eager group of learners. I am so grateful they have such a willingness to learn each and every day. I want to provide them with everything I can, so they have the best education. I want my children to continue on this fun and exciting journey of education and learning.
My Project
My children really enjoy learning in the classroom, but they need Social Emotional Development (S.E.D.) time with their peers too. They will be able to take this tricycle out for a ride around the playground and communicate with friends. When S.E.D. time is over, then they will be ready to come back in the room, recharged and ready to learn.
Math should be fun and hands-on.
These magnetic Math games and other workshop center games will help with important Math concepts and make learning more fun! It is time to go fishing for success with Math and sight words!
