Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first year teacher, I am starting brand new and from scratch. With that being said, anything and everything to start up my classroom for the first time is extremely appreciated!

I love my students because they motivate me to get to work everyday to help them become the best them they can be.

I plan to use the pink chair as my calm down corner for when students need a little break from work or their emotions are getting the best of them!

All the other materials are basic materials that I feel is needed to set my classroom up for success! As a first year teacher, I will need the following materials such as: crayons, colored pencils, a pencil sharpener and pencils for my scholars families who simply can't provide it and I'll be able to provide it for their success. My classroom is intended to be very organized as I have chair pockets for their chairs to put their belongings so their desk is cleared! Another way I will be organized is with the label maker and all posters will be laminated with the laminator so that nothing gets ruined throughout the school year. The dry erase boards are for my students to do independent work with when I have small group discussion.
