My Students

Do you remember what it was like to be a senior of the school and wanted to be the best role model possible to the lower grades? My students are facing that this year and want to show the others how to do their best on reading. They need books though in order to read as much as they can.

Our school is a newer public school and is very hidden in the county.

We are in the heat of the Florida sun. We are a title one school, which means my students come from lower income families. I have several students who do not fully know English. I also have migrant students.

My Project

My students will benefit from the books because it will give them more opportunities to read as much as possible. We don't have the opportunity to check books out from the library as much as they need. The listening center will help my students who are not reading as well as they should be and will also help my English language learners. The bean bag chairs will make reading in the classroom as comfortable as being at home.

This donation will change not only my classroom for this year but for the future years and students to come.

Since I am a first year teacher I need all the help I can get! Thank you so much for any donations you can make.
