My Students

Next year I will be a first year teacher and I will be teaching second grade at my dream school. My students will be 7 and 8 years old. I have not met them yet but I know that I want to be able to provide everything for them in my classroom that they need for a comfortable and safe learning environment. I am working hard to make sure that my students have everything they need so that they are not at a disadvantage because I am a first year teacher.

My Project

As a first year teacher I am preparing my classroom on a college graduate budget. I am determined to make sure that my students have everything they need for a safe and comfortable learning environment.

A classroom rug that fits all of my students will help me achieve a comfortable classroom as well as help develop classroom community.

My students will be able to all sit together in one place for things like read aloud, class meetings, and lessons. My students need a comfy place to sit together in the classroom. This rug would give us that space, while also providing individual squares for each student. I want to make sure that my students have everything they need for a positive learning experience.
