Help me give my students collaborative learning materials needed in a 7th grade English classroom. My goal is to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment for my students by providing them with a table, crayons, highlighters, and more.
My students are 7th graders in middle school. They are silly, creative, and engaging. I love how my students like to work in groups on reading, projects, and class assignments. My students are always up for making creative projects and discussing literature in small groups. My students come from different economical backgrounds, so having supplies in my classroom is crucial for the enrichment and achievement of all students. I dream for my classroom to be a safe place for students to learn.
My Project
These materials will help me create a cooperative learning environment for my students. The kidney-shaped table will allow me to work with students individually and in groups. The art supplies and highlighters will also help my students with annotating text and exploring their creative side in English. I also am requesting a rug to create a friendly and warm environment. The light covers will help students with autistic behaviors and light sensitivity.
I am starting from nothing and would love to have support to better my classroom for my students.
These materials will make a difference for my students because they will be able to explore literacy and writing through creativity, group settings, and comfort.
