This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Hello, my class contains 10-15 students who are in special education. My students are very intelligent and excited to learn in the classroom. The students are very engaged at school and enjoy coming every day.

Many students have lack of resources which requires the school or myself to help the students out by purchasing supplies ourselves.

My students are always looking forward to new items for the classroom that I bring in. They love learning and having the materials needed makes it easier for them to stay engaged.

My Project

I am a first year teacher at a charter school. I am in need of some essentials to be successful in my class. Currently I am managing with the resources provided. However, this school is a new school and in need of a lot of supplies.

If you could please help a first year teacher be successful in a classroom by purchasing some of these items it would be greatly appreciated.

I am very excited to begin my first year and want to be successful in my job. This can be a very rewarding profession. Anything you can do would be appreciated by the school and myself.
