Help a first year teacher grow a kindergarten library! Kindergarten is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to stay with the group, follow directions or hold a paintbrush. We celebrate little wins daily and love our carpet story time!

My Project
Kindergartners are creative and love to have fun. It is important that they like school and develop a love for exploring, experimenting, and learning. A large part of kindergarten academia is taught through play and an introduction to books.
This is my goal each and everyday for my class and I strive to create such an environment for my students with engaging books and classroom supplies.
Our classroom library is the only exposure some of my students have with books. This is why it is so important to have a variety of things to read and study.
