I am a first-year teacher! Currently, I have 21 students. Everyday, I learn something new about each one of them. With the variety of abilities and interests of my students, I am super excited to help them to learn, grow, and succeed!
My Project
This project includes a variety of materials: tempera paint, picture books, graphic novels, test dividers, and games for inside recess. As I have been teaching for the past few weeks, these have been materials that I have noticed that my students need to make their learning experience better.
For example, I have been thinking about how I can integrate Art into my classroom more or how I prepare my classroom for a inside recess (which I wasn't ready for on the 2nd day of school).
Lastly, I have noticed the love my students have for graphic novels and reading and want to provide for books for them to read and explore.
