Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Most of our students come from a low income, rural community with its roots in agriculture. We are not a large district, but when you have only one middle school and one high school in your district, we do have a lot of students at our sites.
Our students are vastly diverse and unique, but we all have one thing in common; we are Sanger proud.
Our sixth grades are proud Braves and Chiefs that become proud Warriors in seventh and eighth grade, who in turn, become proud Apaches in high school. We have a proud lineage and our students show their pride every day.
My Project
We are a new FIRST Tech Challenge robotics rookie team for the 2018-2019 year. My students are excited to be able to participate in competitive robotics. We need a storage system to be able to store and secure our robotics equipment and the robot in between work sessions. Our robotics equipment is currently scattered throughout my classroom and it is difficult to keep track of our tools and materials.
The Gladiator Workbench will allow my students a centralized station to collaborate and build the robot on.
While the Gladiator Gearbox Storage Cabinets will allow my students to store their robotics equipment and the Gladiator wheels will allow the storage to be mobile and move where we need them to be.
