This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
A typical day in my classroom starts with many questions! "Ms. M., what are we doing on Computer Science Day?" By the end of the year, I want my students to anticipate the future of STE(A)M! "Education is learning what you didn't even know you didn't know."-D. Boorstin
Innovation is derived from powerful collaboration and problem-solving skills!
My students range from grades Kindergarten to fifth. The socioeconomic status is a factor because our students are from high poverty homes. Our school is 100% free breakfast and lunch. We have a high population of Hispanic, Native American Indians, and African Americans.
My Project
Our student's are seeking the opportunity to be a part of a 21st-century global organization. Please help our diverse tech learners to be a part of an amazing opportunity. Our students are curious learners who deserve the chance to be among the future tech leaders around the world!
Encouraging our diverse students to be a part of a global organization will build the courage to advance beyond their socioeconomic circumstances.
Being apart of first Lego League and Lego League Jr. gives them the opportunity to travel, explore and meet the young students around the state. The robotics building kits will be a stepping stone for inclusion in the various programs.
