My students are passionate about robotics! We are the our high school’s robotics team. My students love to tinker and build. Many of my students employ creative thinking and engineering skills to build a robot to compete in the FIRST Robotics program.
The team is comprised of motivated and capable high school students who take responsibility for every aspect of the program.
From marketing, programming, electronics, pneumatics, and mechanical engineering, our students step up to the plate to develop their skills.
My Project
The computers and 3D printer will enable our students to develop programming and CAD designs for the robot we will use for the 2019 FIRST Robotics competition. Our students are gearing up to go to the World Competition in April this year! I have never had such enthusiastic and dedicated students.
The computers will be used for programming in Java by the programming team and by the design team to create 3D images of the robot.
The computer and 3D printer will enhance the student's overall experience in the program by having up to date technology. Almost all of the students will have their hands on the new technology to develop t-shirt designs, marketing materials for the team, pit design, and scouting plans.
