This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have some of the most motivated students I have ever seen winning a state title, and finishing in the semifinals at Vex Worlds!

In 5 years, my students have done what nobody thought they would ever be able to do, compete with some of the best robotics teams in the world.

They have made team Scorpion proud... now we are on to the next big challenge FRC. Team Scorpion will take this on with the same never give up attitude we have used with Vex Robotics.

My Project

Engineering/Robotics at Work - this a prime example of students excelling in Technology and Engineering. With this new challenge, the First Robotics Competition, we will need to build new skill sets in our students.

Students will now need to use Solid works, Master Cam, and will need to build proficiency in the machine shop, using CNC equipment, to construct the parts needed for a FRC robot.

Other skill sets students will be instructed in will be programming language C++, G&M codes, as well as Mat-lab.

This will bring students into 21st century learning and prepare them for the world of engineering.

This will also build team work skills that are so necessary in today's high-tech industries, as well as prep for an engineering college.
