My Students
I teach a group of fabulous first-grade students in an extremely diverse school in Brooklyn, NY. My students love reading funny stories, writing, poetry, creating art, exploring in science, learning new words, building, dancing, singing, playing math games, playing with puppets and learning new facts. They are a dynamic group that is learning to be independent and find ways to work together.
My students are funny, enthusiastic, inquisitive, compassionate and sweet. We are learning a lot this year together. We are learning to be good citizens, how to solve problems and how to be a classroom community!
My Project
My first-grade class wants to start our year off right! We need basic shared classroom supplies to do our daily work.
First graders are gaining independence and learning to be life long learners.
We are asking for pens to do amazing writing, crayons to make our work colorful and notebooks for Poetry and Math. We need dry erase markers for whiteboard math lessons and black socks to use as erasers.
We need paper towels and Clorox wipes to keep our room clean. We will need tissues for our running, sneezing noses and band-aids for occasional boo-boos.
