My Students

My fabulous firsties are a group of diverse first graders who are bright, unique, and always inspired and ready to learn. First grade is such an important year! Students learn how to read, write, and so much more! With all of the challenges that Covid-19 has brought to our communities, we must not forget about our little ones.

We need your help to purchase comfortable chairs for our little ones.

Our current chairs are old, metal, uncomfortable, and heavy. Our new chairs will give our students a safe and welcoming learning environment. With new Covid safety protocols, we no longer have a rug to gather on, so all they have is their desk and chair!

My Project

My class has old, heavy metal chairs with missing screws. Help me give them new chairs so they can have a comfortable and productive learning space. They are decades old.

We need to constantly put our chairs up to clean and disinfect our room, but these chairs are so heavy and damaged that we have a hard time lifting and moving them.

They squeak, they are unstable, and they are very uncomfortable.

Having a safe and comfortable space to learn is so important for our little ones. Our new chairs will help us feel more secure and welcome at school, which in turn will lead to better productivity and learning!
