This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
I teach first grade at a charter school in a low-income district. My students work hard and deserve the best!
Our easel is held together with paper-clip wire! The white board side is stained from non-erasable markers, I attach chart paper with huge binding clips It doesn't hold big books, so I have to try to balance a giant, floppy book while teaching a lesson, which can be distracting for students.
A new easel will make our classroom run so much better, with a place for everything including big books and chart paper, and a fresh white board for us to write on.
By helping us get this one easel, you can make a big difference in our classroom! This is something that we will use for almost every lesson, every day we are in school.
