My Students

My students love learning, and our classroom is a community of friends and achievers. Their eyes light up when introduced to new activities and topics of study. We are a public magnet school with a STEAM focus that fosters innovation in our students. We create goals each day to help us grow as learners.

First graders love school and want to succeed.

My students all come to school wanting to learn, be successful, and make friends. We support each other to help everyone meet goals and discover new ideas.

My Project

We are currently doing distance learning for our first grade class. When we return to hybrid in-person learning soon, my students will need a place to store their personal materials. Our classroom has always shared supplies in our supply caddies on each group table. Our tables do not have storage desk areas. These storage sacks can be placed on students’ chairs so that no one has to touch one another’s materials. This will be vital to try to not spread germs. The special storage sacks have pockets for folders, crayons, pencils, name tags, and more!
