My Project

It's hard to believe that it is time to start planning for our kindergarten moving up day. These students started in kindergarten eager to learn, excited to explore, and amazed by what they could do....and so was I.

We have become readers, writers, scientists and mathematicians in just a short time in kindergarten.

It has been a memorable year, and I want to make their last day just as memorable. I am excited to give my students each their own canvas tote bag. We will use fabric markers to sign each others bags (and we can even write our last names now.) When these are left to dry (the night before our graduation) I will fill them with books, stuffed animals, awards, pencils, summer learning activities and so much more.

The envelopes (in our school color) will hold the laminated graduation certificate that I make for each student. Imagine their surprise when they open the bag following the ceremony. The smiles of six year old children are contagious.
