My students need 2 read-along books, 6 headphones and 4 sets of engaging workstations to enhance their math, science and reading knowledge.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The world is a diverse place and so is my class. I have different ethnic groups and different academic levels and learning styles. Therefore, workstations are a must in my class.
My students are diverse, energetic and competitive first graders.
They love to learn with hands on activity during math and science lessons. My students are eager to learn, using various tools in our class. Our Title I, public elementary school is a beautiful campus that allow them to learn in an inviting environment.
My Project
The state of the education system today is different than when I went to school. Students are required to take ownership of their own learning. The Workstation Learning Centers will assist my students with developing skills in math, science and reading. They will be able to manipulate objects and have fun while they are learning. Teachers are required to do small group intervention daily. Working in engaging workstations allow students to build independence and social skills. My goal is to engage every student on their level and in their own learning style. Therefore, they can take ownership of what they are learning.
The future doctors, scientists, attorneys, and educators are in my room.
Their education is one of the most important things in my life. I struggle to find quality workstations that can assist with what my students needs to learn and/or enhance. With these wonderful workstations, my students will be able to build independence and/or with work peers to improve skills needed to be promoted and successful.
