My Students

"Whatever you are, be a good one." Abraham Lincoln 16th President of the United States It is my responsibility as the classroom teacher to provide opportunities for learning for my students so that they can become real-world learners.

My first grade classroom is composed of 18 students who are eager to learn.

The interest level of my students varies based on their real-world experiences. Curriculum instruction and presentation of new concepts and ideas varies to encourage and motivate all students regardless of their learning style.

My Project

My students will be able to utilize the iPads during small group instruction and independent learning times. The iPads will help decrease keyboard anxiety,reduce log-in times and allow the students to easily select curriculum-based Apps. These applications will allow my students to either remediate or enrich previously instructed strategies and skills.

Donations to this project will enhance the classroom learning experience in my first grade class.

My students will gain a greater independence and understanding of the value of utilizing technology in the real-world. Using iPads in the classroom will also allow my students to gain more control of their individual learning experiences.
