My Students

My school is Title 1 and my classroom is very diverse. In my classroom room there is a minimum of six languages each year. We have a high refugee and low income families. They are excited to learn and love being at school in a safe environment.

My students are enthusiastic, have high energy and a willingness to learn.

The love the opportunity to be able to use things they have never seen before. Their excitement towards learning is why I am a teacher!

My Project

The stools that are needed are for small group instruction. There are two groups that need stools. These would be a great addition to my classroom because it is different flexible seating for first grade. They have short attentions spans so to be able to have these during small groups would help eliminate some restlessness.

Headphones are an awesome tool to help first grade students with learning on the computers.

These need to be sturdy enough for a first grader to use and not break. They are useful tools since many of the learning on the computer is geared toward learning English as a second language. The students in my class love to learn and I love to help them any way I can.
