As first grade teachers in an urban school district,we have a need for an updated VCR/DVD/TV player on our wing to supplement our Science and Social Studies curriculum. Our library houses many videos and DVD's for the primary grades which are difficult to access because our technology is lacking. We currently do not have a DVD player on our wing and our television and VCR is in disrepair. Being a very diverse community, our librarian has purchased many materials which celebrate our diverse community and we would like to be able to use these resources as well to enhance our curriculum. Approximately 100 students would benefit from this purchase.
