My Project

Students all over the world have faced setbacks due to distance learning. Reading fluency is the ability to read with speed, accuracy, and proper expression. This skill is important for not only language arts but also all other subjects. For example, a student who struggles in reading will also struggle to read a math word problem.

A great way to improve reading fluency is to read along with a story that is being read aloud.

The addition of a literature listening center would provide students the opportunity to read along with a story that is at the correct developmental level for where they currently are. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student reading fluency but you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
