My students need five Kindles for technology opportunities and improve math and literacy skills with approved literacy and math stations and Kindle Fire activities!
A typical day in my classroom consists of Fundations Phonics instruction, small group guided reading groups/ literacy work stations, writer's workshop, reading instruction, math, small group and one on one intervention and enrichment, lunch, recess, specials, science and social studies!
My students are very eager and excited to learn.
They come to school every day prepared to learn and try their best at everything they do even when it is difficult! I want my students to learn as much as they can throughout the year and become productive citizens in our school and their communities! My students do not have all the advantages that other kids have. They come from difficult circumstances but defy the odds and try their best in everything they do. They are very happy, excited and eager to learn when they come to school! My students want to make a difference and help others whenever possible. They are very caring and come to school every day prepared with a positive attitude!
My Project
I would love these Kindles for my classroom to help with literacy and math workstations and to implement more technology opportunities in our everyday lessons. My students will be able to work on approved educational apps during math and literacy work stations, work on presentations and I will be able to use them for random calling on students, opportunities to enhance my lessons, music cues for transitions as well as many other technology opportunities! Students will use these resources for all academic areas- math, writing, literacy, social studies, and science!
My project will make a difference in my students lives by giving them more technology opportunities which are essential for 21st Century learning as well as many other learning opportunities to include educational apps and presentation resources.
These donations will improve my classroom and lessons because they will make them more engaging for my students and enhance our learning environment. My students and I would love the opportunity to receive these donations! Thank you so much in advance!
