Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

While the supplies requested may look like all fun activities, these items will greatly benefit students in a multitude of ways. First off, board games will teach students how to work together and learn how to win as well as lose. This will also help students learn how to treat each other during a game that includes winning.

In addition, copy paper and paint sets are a great way to students to show their learning in a different way.

Students are often asked to write about what they learned but allowing students to show their work/learning in a different way and an artistic way is amazing!

Our curriculum uses big books each week which are difficult to display for students to see without a proper shelf. In addition students will be able to interact with big books and practice their reading as well since the shelf is at their level.
