My Students

Thank you so much for your support with my first project! It has been a wonderful addition to our classroom! I have officially met my students and have spent two and a half weeks with them. I would love to offer them more flexible seating options within the classroom! We currently have log stools, a reading nook with comfy pillows, rocking chairs with bumpy cushions for a few specific student needs, and two inflatable cushions. I would like to offer more options for the children to use at their individual desks.

My Project

My students are hard workers and deserve the opportunity to move freely as they complete academic tasks! The typical school day requires children to sit for an extended period of time. I want to make this time as enjoyable as possible. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. It helps them make positive choices so they can get the most from the school day. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. My goal is to purchase 19 yoga balls so that each child will have access to their own personal seating. I am excited to offer them the opportunity of flexible seating and I am hoping you can help!
